The Lion Cut       Why do people get their animals shaved into a lion cut you ask?  Generally, this breed collects and swallows lots of hairballs which cause problems for them.  Also, the hair usually becomes matted into clumps before you know it and your kitty may not allow you to remove the hair.  For some the tight matting is painful. And, it is no easy task for the groomer.  Daily or weekly brushing is required or just a nice lion cut.  Last about six months to one year, depending on what you like. Before and after.
